Rotor for electric motor
The request
For an innovative client we produced carbon rotors used in the electric motor of a solar race car. These parts set high demands: ultra-light, yet stiff and strong in exactly the right directions — essential for optimal power transfer and maximum efficiency.
The complexity
The challenge lay in carefully determining the fibre build-up and guaranteeing absolute dimensional stability. Thanks to our precise CNC machining, in both mould making and final machining, we deliver rotors with consistent quality accurate to a hundredth of a millimetre.
Why this case matters
A fine example of composite engineering where performance is central — and proof that our precision reaches beyond visible work. The same dimensional accuracy that keeps a rotor at speed makes an interior panel fit seamlessly.

A part with hard specifications?
We will gladly run the numbers on fibre build-up, weight and dimensional accuracy.
